Małgorzata Misiak, MD, PhD – Anesthesiologist

Education and work experience:

Dr n. med. Małgorzata Misiak, MD, PhD is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw (formerly the Medical Academy in Warsaw). She is a highly qualified and experienced specialist in anesthesiology, intensive care, and palliative medicine. For over a dozen years, she worked and gained experience at the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology in Warsaw.

In her daily practice, she performs advanced anesthesiological procedures and treats patients requiring intensive care and supportive therapy. She has over 20 years of experience in vascular cannulation and is a recognized expert and co-author of medical research publications regarding implantable vascular access systems. She is a member of the board of Polskiego Klubu Dostępu Naczyniowego, and from 2019 to 2022, she served as the President of this society. At the Phlebology Clinic, she ensures patient comfort by professionally providing anesthesia for minimally invasive procedures performed in the Vascular Lab, and she also personally performs precise vascular port implantation procedures.
