What sets us apart? At the Phlebology Clinic, we focus on a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases. Our specialists are certified phlebologists with many years of experience in treating diseases of the venous system. Importantly, in our facility, we always strive to find the cause of venous disease; we do not treat symptoms exclusively. We are pioneers of causal treatment for venous disease in Poland. We have developed an original method of diagnosis and treatment that takes into account the so-called sequential causal treatment. Each phlebological consultation begins with a thorough medical history and a Doppler ultrasound examination of the veins, which is performed by a phlebologist physician. After the ultrasound examination, additional consultations with other specialists are not necessary. This allows for immediate interpretation of the results and discussion of diagnostic and therapeutic options during a single visit. We have the latest diagnostic equipment at our disposal, which enables a precise assessment of the condition of the venous vessels. In our daily practice, we utilize imaging modalities such as Doppler ultrasound, magnetic resonance venography, computed tomography venography, digital subtraction phlebography, and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). In treatment, we utilize special proprietary principles and hybrid therapies (combining several methods). In our phlebological practice, we combine many years of experience with an innovative approach to treatment, always prioritizing the patient's safety and comfort. Consulting specialists dr n. med. No, the Doppler ultrasound examination is completely painless and non-invasive. It involves placing an ultrasound probe covered with gel on the skin. Occasionally, the doctor performing the examination may need to apply pressure to the tissues or move the probe slightly more firmly over the patient's skin. However, this does not cause a pain reaction Can I come for a phlebological consultation during my period? Yes, a phlebological consultation can take place during menstruation. It does not affect the quality of the examination or its results. Do I need a referral for a consultation with a phlebologist? No, a referral to the Phlebology Clinic is not required to have a phlebological consultation. You can schedule an appointment by phone, calling our Clinic directly. Please note that the Phlebology Clinic does not provide services under the National Health Fund (NFZ) – all consultations and procedures are carried out privately. Do you also perform procedures during the first visit? This happens rather rarely. It usually stems from the complexity of the issues our patients present with. In the case of some methods, such as microsclerotherapy, treatment can be initiated during the first consultation if there are no contraindications. For other methods, it may be necessary to schedule an additional treatment visit. How long does a phlebological consultation take? The first visit with a phlebology specialist usually lasts approximately 20-45 minutes. It all depends on the complexity of the venous problem the patient presents with. This time allows for a thorough medical history, physical examination, and Doppler ultrasound of the veins to be performed, as well as a discussion of the treatment plan.
