Phlebology, Radiology and Imaging Diagnostics

Education and professional experience

Co-founder of the Clinic of Phlebology - a unique specialist institution on the map of Poland, dealing with the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the venous system (for more information on the proprietary treatment philosophy applied at the Clinic of Phlebology, please visit: About the Clinic).
Dr Cezary Szary is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, from which he graduated with honours in 2006. He has been practising as a phlebologist in Warsaw for many years, dealing with complex vascular diagnostics, minimally invasive treatment of venous insufficiency of the lower limbs and pelvic venous insufficiency and training doctors in Doppler diagnostics and performing intravenous procedures. He is co-author of the new classification system pelvic venous insufficiency and comprehensive and causal model for the treatment of venous insufficiency as a whole. The topic of Dr Cezary Grey's doctoral dissertation was pelvic venous insufficiency, with particular emphasis on diagnostic and classification aspects and their impact on the methodical approach to treatment.

He completed his specialisation in radiology and diagnostic imaging at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration (MSWiA) in Warsaw on Wołoska Street, working in the Department of Radiology of the CMKP under the direction of national consultant Professor Jerzy Walecki. He then served as a senior assistant in the Department of Radiology at that hospital. For more than 10 years, he trained future radiology and diagnostic imaging specialists at the Medical Centre for Postgraduate Education. From 2014 to 2018, he was the Laboratory Manager of the Centre for Imaging Diagnostics at the Medicover Hospital in Warsaw. Currently, he is professionally associated with the Imaging Diagnostic Laboratory of the Centre for Sports Medicine (CMS) in Warsaw, where advanced diagnostic examinations of the venous system, such as magnetic resonance venography and computed tomography, are performed.
