Education and professional experience

A graduate and employee of the Warsaw Medical University. From 1993 up to now, he works in the Unit of Molecular Biology (formerly referred to as the Tissue Culture Unit) of the Center for Biostructure Research of the Warsaw Medical University, in which besides the didactic work with students of medicine and doctoral students, he also conducts researches on the mechanism of chronic wound healing and pathogenesis of venous insufficiency.

In 1996-2006, he worked as an assistant in the Department and Clinic of General, Vascular and Transplantation Surgery of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Warsaw Medical University.

    • sclerotherapy (full range: microsclerotherapy, needle echosclerotherapy, tumescence-assisted echosclerotherapy, mechanical and chemical obliteration using Phlebogriffe)
    • intravenous procedures under tumescent-based local anaesthesia such as laser-based closure of veins (ELVeS 1470 nm), glue treatment of varicose veins (VenaSeal and VariClose)
